The Bass Trap Ihofon-BT is an innovative low-frequency hybrid chassis that combines sound absorption & sound diffusion features at the same time. It can be placed in the corners of a room, in order to improve the sound quality and the reverberation time, thus helping to reduce the unwanted reflections, echo effects and standing waves. It consists of the main part, Ihofon BT Base and the additional Diffuse Film (DM). It is a product of foam flexible polyurethane, with embossed design while the addition of cavities maximizes sound absorption. Utilizing the depth of the angle that is placed, with a corresponding increase in the thickness of the foam material, an increase of the sound absorption is achieved at low frequencies (bass), in relation to other flat audio frames of smaller thickness.
