What is waterproofing?

Waterproofing or waterproofing addresses the problem of moisture. A wall alone can not block water, a waterproofing liner is required. This may be needed at various points in a building or house, but the most common example is terraces that are showered with rainwater. It is important to know the difference between insulation and roof sealing.

They are two different concepts as the insulation concerns the temperature of a building, so we refer to thermal insulation while the waterproofing ensures the blockage of the areas that allow water and other elements to enter the space. In order for a roof to be sealed, there must be proper thermal insulation bases.
